Convention Postponed to 2021 

Welcome to the Australasian Region of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). The Region covers Australia, New Zealand and some Pacific Islands. The purposes of the Region are to promote, stimulate, foster, and encourage by all manner and means the art and craft of model railroading and the preservation of the hobby's history, science, and technology.

The Regional Convention  has been postponed until 2021 due to the current situation with COVID-19 and government restriction on gatherings of more than 10 people. The Epping Model Railway Exhibition at Rosehill Racecourse has also been cancelled for this year.        .

Rydges Parramatta is the offical host of the 2020 convention. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea will be provided by Rydges as part of the  convention ticket. See the location page for accomdation options.

Three streams of clinics will be offered on Saturday and Sunday of the convention.  A model judging stream will be held on the Saturday, so make sure you get your models in. See the contest page for detail.
