NMRA - Australasian Region

The Australasian Region of the NMRA was formed in 1984 and is only one of two regions outside North America, the other being the British Region. With over 400 members at last count, regular monthly meetings are held in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Taree.

We run a modellers convention each year where clinics on the hobby are provided by experienced modellers, excellent layouts are visited, hobby suppliers sell their wares and a highly successful auction of model railroad equipment is conducted.

There are numerous Special Interest Groups (SIG) within the Region that cater for all types of modelers.
